ADMISSION TO London Gates
Admission to all London Gates programmes takes place throughout the year and is possible if there are places in the group corresponding to the child's level. The exception is the A–levels programme: admission can be gained in August and September of each academic year only.
Before attending the classes, the child and their legal representative attend an interview with the curator of the programme or with the head of the centre. It takes from three to seven days to process the interview results. After that, the child receives an invitation to start classes in one of the appropriate London Gates groups.
Interviews are conducted daily by appointment from 10.00 to 20.00, ofline in the center or remotely on an online platform and last one hour.
There is no interview for the Pre-Junior Barnaby programme. To gain admission, it is enough to talk to the curator of the programme by phone and agree on the date when it is convenient for you to start.

HOW AN INTERVIEW GOES

Stage one: a conversation with a child and an adult about their expectations from LGEG, their motivation and plans for the future, a discussion on the topic of the principles of the centre and the chosen programme.

Stage two: oral and written testing of the child to determine the level of English language proficiency, as well as written testing in mathematics in Russian for the Prep Course and A-levels programmes,

Stage three: a discussion of some technical issues with the adult (the schedule, payment options, a trial month). The second and third stages usually take place simultaneously: while the child is busy with testing, adults solve organisational problems.
